Matt Hull is a trumpet player and composer from Boston, living in Brooklyn, NY. Hull is nostalgic for, and inspired by, soft radio static and novelty hand-held radios. This has lead to the creation of his current band, Radio Brass, and his latest solo effort, “Dreams of Radio Brass”.

Hull was a member of the indie rock/jazz outfit Really From, being the sole horn player was once referred to by WBUR as a “one-man brass band”. He regularly plays with Brooklyn-based post-hardcore/indie band Stay Inside, NYC brass band Underground Horns, his band Radio Brass and is one half of the experimental horn duo, Lewis Lamp.

Hull maintains a busy freelance schedule performing, writing, recording and teaching in NYC.
